  • How do I track my order?

    You will receive a shipment confirmation email when your order is picked up with links to the carriers tracking page. If you did not receive a shipping confirmation within two business days of placing your order please check your Spam folder in case the email was mistakenly identified as Spam by your email provider. You can add store@shockabsorber.ca to your email address book and safe sender list to ensure communications are received promptly.

    If you have a ShockAbsorber.ca account you can login to view updated tracking information under My Account.

  • Rural / Remote Area Surcharge
    A $5 rural area surcharge will be added automatically to the shipping method selected at check out for select postal codes. This applies to orders that would otherwise qualify for free shipping, ground shipping and express shipping options. Ground Shipping: Order value below $90: if your subtotal is under $90 Flat Rate Shipping of $7.95 applies as well as the $5 Rural area surcharge for a total shipping charge of $12.95. Free Shipping: Order value $90 or more: if the order subtotal is $90+, your order qualifies for "free shipping" but the $5 Rural area surcharge still applies. The total shipping charge in this case would be $5.
  • Free shipping eligibility requirements
    Free Shipping offer applies only to orders of merchandise, excluding taxes. Promotional coupons, where applicable will be deducted from your item subtotal and may affect your order's Free Shipping eligibility. Free Shipping offer does not cover the rural delivery area surcharge ($5) nor the remote air stage destination surcharge ($10).
  • I entered the wrong / incomplete address at check out and the parcel was returned to sender. How do I get my parcel?

    Once your order has been shipped, we are unable to modify the destination address that was provided at checkout. If you have entered the incorrect address and the tracking shows the packages was successfully delivered, you will need to get in contact with the residence of this address. If this address was incomplete or does not exist, it will simply make it's way back to our facility. Upon receipt, your order will be refunded less the shipping charges paid or an equivalent amount in the case the order qualified for free shipping.

    We recommend re-ordering as quickly as possible with the corrected address to ensure the availability of the item ordered and we will do our best to prioritize the processing and delivery.

  • How do I know if my bra fits?

    Getting the right fit is important to a good performance
    To ensure your sports bra gives you the best support, here are some tips on a good fit:

    The Underband

    The band around the chest should be level front and back. It needs to be comfortable but firm. A good gauge to ensure that the underband fits well is being able to fit two fingers between the underband and your skin. Any more space and the band is too big and could cause friction.

    Perfect fit. The underband is firm and level the whole way round. There should only be a one to two inch give. Ensure the band is neither too loose nor too tight If the underband rides up at the back then the band is too big.

    The Cups

    The cup should contain the whole of the breast, with no creases and no cleavage on show.

    Perfect fit. Each breast is full contained If the breasts are squashed or cleavage is on show, the cup size is probably too small. If the fabric is gaping or wrinkling then this suggests the cup size is too big.

    The Shoulder Straps

    Sports bras come in different styles, usually a traditional U Back or Racer Back. The straps should be adjusted to fit securely on the shoulders with only one to two inch give.

    Perfect fit. If you slide two fingers between the strap and the skin, there should have only a one to two inch give. If you slide two fingers between the strap and the skin, there should have only a one to two inch give. If straps fall off shoulders, tighten them so that they fit securely on the shoulders.

    Do the bounce test! Jump up and down to check that you feel supported and secure.

    If in doubt, we recommend you get professionally fitted
    as 80% of women are wearing the wrong size bra.

  • What size should I order?

    Most customers will be comfortable ordering their usual bra size  Some customers find that Shock Absorber sports bras tend to fit snug at the band and fuller in the cups. If this is a concern you might consider ordering one band size larger than usual. Check your measurements using our size chart or the fitting guide.

    Please note that Shock Absorber Canada follows UK cup sizing conventions:

    Band sizes: 30, 32, 34, 36, 38, 40, 42, 44

    Cup sizes: A, B, C, D, DD, E, F, FF, G, GG, H, HH

  • How long should my Sports Bra last?

    A sports bra, like any piece of quality excersie gear, will eventually wear with use. How long a bra lasts depends on the frequency of wearing, laundering care and intensity of your activities. Watch out for stretched elastics and straps and faded tags that are signs that it might be time to retire your favorite bra and renew your wardrobe. We recommend replacing your sports bra every 6-12 months for optimal performance.

  • Where can I find Shock Absorber product in my city/province?

  • I can't seem to find a product on the online store. Where can I find it?

    If a product is not found on our website, it is most likely out of stock. However, it may still be available at your local Shock Absorber retailer or one of our online partners. Please consult the store locator to view additional purchase options. Submit a request with the contact form and a customer service agent will respond to you shortly with additional inventory information.

    Exchanges
    We want your Shock Absorber Bra to fit perfectly. If you need another size or would prefer to try a different product. Please place a new order for the desired items and we will include a complimentary return shipping label in the pouch with your new order. Please add a note at checkout reminding to include the prepaid shipping label for the return of the original order :)

    • Exchange order must be placed within 30 days from the date of delivery.
    • Items should be in sellable condition, unwashed, unworn and include original tags intact and attached to the merchandise. 
    • Items being exchanged must be of equal or greater value than the original purchase and in-stock (availability is not guaranteed).
    • Sale merchandise purchased at a combined discount of 25% or greater are final sale and may not be exchanged.
    • If after trying the new bra(s) you choose not to keep any then you may return the bras in the same parcel using the included prepaid return label. We will deduct a $9.95 restocking fee on the final order. 

    Easy Returns
    We want you to be completely happy with your Shock Absorber purchase. If for any reason you are not satisfied, please return the item(s) to us within 30 days of receipt in its original condition for a refund in the original form of payment. All merchandise must be in new and unused condition with the original hang tags attached and intact.

  • What is Shock Absorber's return policy?

    Shock Absorber bras and activewear1 purchased from ShockAbsorber.ca may be returned within 30 days of the purchase date for a full refund in the amount of the purchase excluding shipping costs when returned  unused, unwashed, in like-new, sellable condition accompanied by the original hang tags2. The condition of the product is left at the discretion of Shock Absorber. Upon receiving your returned Shock Absorber merchandise at our warehouse, a refund in the amount of the purchase will be issued to you for the Shock Absorber product within 10 – 14 business days. This refund will be issued to the method of payment used to make the original purchase. We cannot refund different accounts or credit cards.

    Sale items marked with a discount of 25% or greater are final sale.

    1 Shock Absorber underwear bottoms are final sale and not eligible for refund or exchange for hygienic reasons

    2 Hang tags must be attached to the garment and the tags not torn

  • Does Shock Absorber do price matching/adjustments?
    Shock Absorber does not price adjust to match other retailer’s pricing.

Gift Cards

  • How are Gift Cards delivered?

    Gift Cards are virtual products in email format. When buying a Gift Card on ShockAbsorber.ca, we will send an email with a unique redemption code to the buyer's chosen email address. We do not take responsibility for incorrect entry of a receiver’s email address, so please make sure your send instructions are correct. There is no charge for email delivery.

  • Where can I redeem Gift Cards?
    Gift Cards are redeemable online exclusively at shockabsorber.ca.
  • Redeeming a Gift Card
    Gift Cards can be used to partially or fully offset a ShockAbsorber.ca purchase. Gift Cards include a unique code made up of numbers and letters that need to be entered at checkout to apply the Gift Card to the order. Any outstanding Gift Card balance will remain on the card and may be applied to future orders. If the Gift Card value does not cover the full order cost, additional payment methods must be used in order to complete the payment.
  • My Gift Card was not received.

    We are not responsible for Gift Cards that are undeliverable or not received due to your failure to correctly enter the recipient’s email address. Please check to make sure the email address of the recipient is correct and contact Customer Support if you suspect the recipient did not receive the Gift Card.

    Sometimes a recipient's email address is correct, but he or she does not access the Gift Card within a reasonable period after the requested delivery date. The following is a list of the most common reasons why this may occur: 

    • Spam filter blocked email or routed it to a bulk/spam folder (add store@shockabsorber.ca to your safe senders list)
    • Recipient's firewall blocked the email
    • Email inbox is over size limit
  • How do I check my Gift Card's balance?

    To check the remaining balance of your gift card, please login to your ShockAbsorber.ca account and click Gift Cards to manage view your card's details or contact our Customer Service team using the form on this page.
