Excellent support for dance and also easy to remove after dance class

Super supportive! Attractive to wear. I am disappointed in comfort though, as the side seams under my arms are very bulky and dig in. The bottom of the zipper is not too tight, but it runs and chaffs my skin as well. I loved my old SA and am sorry it was discontinued.

GREAT bra - easy to put on, and more importantly, easy to get off when sweaty! Absolutely bounce resistant when running or doing high impact exercise. I found it a bit thin and would have liked the option to put something in the lining for more coverage (especially when it's cold ha)

It's hard to find 34Ds in the colourful prints - would love if more were made so they wouldn't sell out so fast!

First, I want to acknowledge that this is COVID times and the people who've been helping me are doing their best in a crisis.

I ordered this bra what feels like a million years ago. I just wanted something for running while in quarantine. A friend suggested this company, and I figured this would be a good bra to start with and see if I liked it. I had no idea I was about to embark on a never-ending pain in the boobs.

First, they didn't have the bra I wanted in stock. It had been listed on the site, but they ran out of the colour and size I wanted, so I had to get a different one. No biggie, COVID times, I'm understanding.

Then I finally I got the bra and it was tiny, didn't even close over my chest. I ordered a 36D, which is the size I wear in every other kind of bra, but was told this one fits small. So, if you are looking at ordering it, please get it bigger than you think you need it. I had to ask the company to send a replacement, which took weeks. They said they would include a packing slip so I could return the tiny one.

Got the new one, it fits, but it pinches in my armpits and is't comfortable at all. It squishes my boobs and feels mainly like my upper half is being suffocated, but at this point I just wanted to go running and I sucked it up. The packing slip wasn't included in my package. I'm still waiting, 25 days later, for it to arrive. I ordered this bra back in March or April, I'm still dealing with hassles from it, and it isn't even a good bra. I'm pretty disappointed, and while I know these are strange times, I'm not buying another product from this company again.

I'm glad there are sport bras that have front closures, this one even has hooks under the zipper for a better and more secure fit.

I've been buying Shock Absorber bras ever since I've been active, and I'll probably buy them again, but definitely not direct from this website, that's for sure. My package was lost - I called customer service twice, they never responded. I emailed - the first email, it took 3 business days to hear a response. The second time I emailed, I didn't get a response for TWO WEEKS. I emailed twice both times. Almost a month after my initial purchase, they made the move to re-send my package. Just appalling service.

The bra ended up being too small in the cups unfortunately. So I can't review it accurately. The company is helping me to exchange it for a size that will fit me though! But it looks like a great bra. I'm a seamstress, n I can tell ya that the materials are pretty good, breathable, lightweight yet supportive. The only thing I didn't like was how the edge of the plastic zipper poked me in the cleavage area but that could be due to the small size.

If it ends up being a problem with my new bra I'll just cover it with fabric.

I love my new Shock Absorber bra. I am an avid tennis fan and aspiring competitive player.
I play almost every day and after years of trying out different sports bras, I can honestly
attest to the fact that the Shock Absorber has been the most comfortable, practical and
    enjoyable one to date!

There are only 2 minor things I dislike about this bra. One is the underarm trim that is a little bit rough and tend to irritate the underarm skin when moving the arms repeatedly. Two is it's kind of difficult to zip at the front with big breast. Once you get in, WOW! it offers an incredible support and coverage. I wasn't expecting that level of comfort from it. Breathable fabric too!

Fitting guide

Getting the right fit is important to a good performance
To ensure your sports bra gives you the best support, here are some tips on a good fit:

The Underband

The band around the chest should be level front and back. It needs to be comfortable but firm. A good gauge to ensure that the underband fits well is being able to fit two fingers between the underband and your skin. Any more space and the band is too big and could cause friction.

The Underband The Underband The Underband
Perfect fit. The underband is firm and level the whole way round. There should only be a one to two inch give. Ensure the band is neither too loose nor too tight If the underband rides up at the back then the band is too big.

The Cups

The cup should contain the whole of the breast, with no creases and no cleavage on show.

The Cups The Cups The Cups
Perfect fit. Each breast is full contained If the breasts are squashed or cleavage is on show, the cup size is probably too small. If the fabric is gaping or wrinkling then this suggests the cup size is too big.

The Shoulder Straps

Sports bras come in different styles, usually a traditional U Back or Racer Back. The straps should be adjusted to fit securely on the shoulders with only one to two inch give.

The Shoulder Straps The Shoulder Straps The Shoulder Straps
Perfect fit. If you slide two fingers between the strap and the skin, there should have only a one to two inch give. If you slide two fingers between the strap and the skin, there should have only a one to two inch give. If straps fall off shoulders, tighten them so that they fit securely on the shoulders.

Do the bounce test! Jump up and down to check that you feel supported and secure.

If in doubt, we recommend you get professionally fitted
as 80% of women are wearing the wrong size bra. HW
